The Dried Fruit Festival
The drying house was constructed in 1938. In the same year, the wood oven was installed and it is still working. At the anniversary of the start of the construction, the traditional DRIED FRUIT FESTIVAL IN GRADEŽ is organized every year on the third Sunday in September or, in case of rain, on the fourth.
You will experience fruit drying in the old oven “live”. You will see a permanent exhibition abut the history of Gradež, a collection of old equipment and tools, and the old village center. You will get to know traditional work and products, experience singing, dancing and other cultural heritage. You will be able to try home cooked dishes. And of course, you will be able to dance and party in the countryside.
